No prior professional experience is required. We accept aspiring models at the very beginning of their career, as well as established models looking to move into international markets. What we look for is presence, potential, and the drive to grow professionally. Your application photos don't need to be professionally shot — but they should be clear and show us who you are.
We represent the full spectrum of Caribbean design: fashion (RTW, couture, eveningwear), accessories (bags, jewelry, belts), footwear, swimwear, resort wear, and lifestyle product designers. We welcome both emerging designers building their first collection and established designers looking for international market access, buyer introductions, and event placement.
Absolutely. FOF represents Caribbean heritage talent wherever you're currently located — whether you're on-island, in the diaspora in New York, London, Toronto, or anywhere else. Caribbean identity and heritage is what connects our roster, not your current zip code.
We aim to review all applications within 10 business days and respond to every submission personally. During the Caribbean launch period, volume is high — if you don't hear back within 2 weeks, you're welcome to follow up via the contact page at fofashion.com.
Accepted talent receives a personalized onboarding session with our team — we map out your goals, review your positioning, and build a strategy specific to where you are now and where you want to go. From there, we actively place you in castings, events, and buyer meetings both in the Caribbean and in international markets. Models get agency introductions. Designers get event placement and buyer access.
Applying is completely free, and basic roster inclusion has no ongoing fees. For designer services and advanced consulting packages (business coaching, contract support, export readiness), we offer tiered paid programs — all of which are clearly priced with no surprise costs. We'll always be transparent about what's included and what's paid before you commit to anything.
Our Caribbean launch prioritizes Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Guyana, the Bahamas, and Aruba. If your island isn't listed, apply anyway — our roster is open to the entire Caribbean region and diaspora, and we evaluate all applications regardless of island.
